In June 1988, I decided to escape from my country of origin, Romania, as the country was under a harsh communist regime, and had a very hostile living environment. On my journey to Canada, I sought out political asylum in Austria. It was there that I discovered the art of tile and stone installation and began my apprenticeship working for a very skillful German tile setter.
Arriving in Canada in 1990, Carefree Tile and Stone was established, and we began working collaboratively with respected and experienced contractors. Our network of trusted industry partners and companies helped to quickly distinguish Carefree Tile and Stone in the local community, whilst giving us valuable experience and insights into achieving quality work. Through this network, Carefree Tile and Stone has successfully completed a vast number of commercial and residential projects of varying sizes.
